A Qualified Referral is defined as the first product purchase made at the www.drugstore.com site (the "Site") by a person (a "Referred Customer") who has not previously purchased from the Site and who arrives at the Site via another person's Refer-a-Friend Program link ("Personal Link"). Only one Qualified Referral can be earned for each Referred Customer. Any additional or subsequent purchases made by a Referred Customer at the Site will not be Qualified Referrals.
A Qualified Referral must consist of an order greater than $25 excluding discounts, taxes, service and shipping charges in order for the Referrer to receive a Referral Credit as defined below. Gift Card purchases are excluded.
For each shipped Qualified Referral you will earn a $10 ("Referral Credit"), up to the annual maximum number of Qualified Referrals allowed. Orders cancelled or returned within thirty (30) days by the Referred Customer do not qualify for Referral Credits. Referral Credits will be paid out to the Referring Customer thirty (30) days after a Qualified Referral has been registered.
The individual who was issued a Personal Link by Company will be considered to be the "Referring Customer" for all Qualified Referrals made using that Personal Link, regardless of whether a Referred Customer obtained the Personal Link directly from the Referring Customer or from another source.
If a Referring Customer provides the referral URL to another person by email, the email must be created and distributed in a personal manner that is appropriate and customary for communications with friends and family members. Bulk email distribution, distribution to strangers, or any other promotion of referral of the URL in a manner that would constitute or appear to constitute unsolicited commercial email or "spam" under any applicable law or regulation is expressly prohibited and will be grounds for immediate termination of the Referring Customer's account and deactivation of the Personal Link.
Company expressly reserves the right to close the account(s) of any Referring Customer and/or Referred Customer and to request proper payment if the Referring Customer and/or Referred Customer has made a purchase with a fraudulently obtained Referral Credit or uses or attempts to use a Referral Credit or the Personal Link in breach of these Terms and Conditions or in violation of any statute or governmental regulation. Such fraudulent activity may include but is not limited to the posting of the Personal Link on designated Deal Sites defined as sites on which consumers exchange links for the purpose of defrauding certain promotional activities.
Company reserves the right to cancel the Refer-a-Friend Program or to change these terms and conditions at any time in its sole discretion.
